Play video: Immunotolerance

Mentioned in this episode:

• Immune Tolerance: Central and Peripheral Tolerance by StemCell Tech. It has a figure for Mechanisms of Action of FOXP3⁺ Regulatory T Cells.
• Peripheral Tolerance- causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology by Osmosis Elsevier.
• My previous video on how T cell activation normally works. View this in contrast to what happens during T cell anergy.
• My previous video on B cell receptor structure. That light chain is the one modified during receptor editing mentioned in this topic.
• The CTLA‐4 immune checkpoint protein regulates PD‐L1:PD‐1 interaction via transendocytosis of its ligand CD80. This is additional reading on how the inhibitors CTLA-4 and PD-1 work.
